AS and A2 French Revision
High quality package for exam preparation.
And where better than Bordeaux! Soak up the atmosphere, converse with native speakers, discover Bristol’s twin city in France.... With years of experience in teaching and student excursions, you’re guaranteed a valuable and stimulating experience.
Each course includes 21 hours of French tuition with tutors who are qualified to teach French as a foreign language. They use active and communicative teaching methods to build confidence in all four skill areas of listening reading speaking and writing. A variety of authentic materials are used. Homework is given to support the lessons and to maximise progress during the study week. There will be one to one sessions for oral practice.
The visits will include discovery of historic Bordeaux, a film screening, a visit to Arcachon and the Dune du Pyla or St Emilion, and a cookery session at the Atelier des Chefs cookery school.
All students/teachers will be based with Alliance Française host families enabling maximum exposure to French language and culture. Students are usually hosted in pairs but can request to stay individually.
All students travel from Bristol Airport on the Easyjet direct flight to Bordeaux, which is bookable now. Please note that you are responsible for booking your own flight. The February group will have to fly via Toulouse.
The cost per person is £575 to include lessons, full board hosting and programme of excursions and enrichment activities and exclusive of flight, individual passports and pocket money.
We also provide a family-to-family exchange for students of secondary school age. This is different from many other school trips as it provides the opportunity to really improve language skills whilst gaining an insight into the French culture and way of life.
