Completing the application form.

The application form must be completed and returned to your French teacher together with a passport-sized photo and a deposit of £160.

Your French teacher will then send the forms to the Student Exchange Office at the Old Terminal Building, Bristol Airport, Bristol BS48 3DY.

Please make sure that your French teacher has the form and deposit by the 14th October at the latest.

You may select from three date options for the 2012 exchange.

Please see dates and payments for these dates. The final day and timing will be confirmed once the flight schedules have been released.

Please state any health problems in the section provided especially those requiring medication.

You should enter details of any pets in the home as some students may have allergies. Also tell us if you or your family are vegetarian or have any other dietary requirements.

You may wish to write down more information about yourself to help the office match you with your French partner.

You can do this by including a covering letter with your application form.

The section on hobbies plays a vital part in the selection of your partner. We will try to match you with someone who has similar interests so please tell us the things that are important to you.

If you wish to be near a friend who is applying please say so on the form. This may restrict a choice of partner for you and we cannot guarantee to meet such a request but we will do our best if this is important to you.

You may wish to request a repeat exchange with a partner from a previous year. You must secure the agreement of the French student to take part before submitting your form. The French student will need to submit their own form to the Bordeaux office.

A host family Child Protection questionnaire, medical details and consent form and code of conduct will be sent out to your home address on receipt of your application.
