Completing the application form.
The application form must be completed and returned to your French teacher together with a passport-sized photo and a deposit of £150.
Your French teacher will then send the forms to the Student Exchange Office at the Old Terminal Building, Bristol International Airport, Bristol BS48 3DY.
Please make sure that your French teacher has the form and deposit by the 16th October 2009 at the latest.
Students can receive at Easter and go to France in the Summer or vice versa.
Please state any health problems in the section provided especially those requiring medication. You should enter details of any pets in the home as some students may have allergies. Also tell us if you or your family are vegetarian or have any other dietary requirements.
You may wish to write down more information about yourself to help the office match you with your French partner.
The section on hobbies plays a vital part in the selection of your partner. We will try to match you with someone who has similar interests so please tell us the things that are important to you.
If you wish to be near a friend who is applying please say so on the form. This may restrict a choice of partner for you and we cannot guarantee to meet such a request but we will do our best if this is important to you.
You may wish to request a repeat exchange with a partner from a previous year. You must secure the agreement of the French student to take part before submitting your form. The French student will need to submit their own form to the Bordeaux office.
A host family Child Protection questionnaire, medical details and consent form will be sent out to your home address on receipt of your application.
